Brittany's 17th Birthday

October is always a crazy busy month for us. With lots of birthdays. Homecomings and Homecoming dances.

So this year we decided to have a joint birthday for Brittany with her cousin Courtney who turned 18 and Brittany turned 17. We had a nice time and it was a nice relaxing party.

Brittany's Homecoming Dance

Life....

Well I haven't been good about blogging... So much has happened since the first day of school.

Brittany is a cheerleader for her school. She made Varsity. So we have a lot of cheer things going on. Between Friday night football games and cheer competitions we are busy!

Then we had a Babyshower for my Grandaughter to be. It was held at Brittany S's dads house. It was a picnic and we had a really nice time.

I did recently go on a Scrapbook weekend away. I met my goal of 100 pages for the year by doing 123 this year! WOO HOO... Couple of my favorite pages that I did at this crop

Brittany's NOT first day of her Junior year

So yesterday we had a yucky memorial day. It rained all day and we just stayed home. The steaks we cooked were tough I was not happy. My end of the summer didn't go the way I wanted.

It could only get better today...Right? nope!

Brittany woke up throwing up! Yes on the FIRST day of her Junior year. She tried to get ready for school. Got dressed and dad even took her. But the school nurse sent her home. She said she couldn't stay. We are hoping its just her normal tummy issues.

Brittany's Summer Dance Recital 2009

Brittany had a dance recital this past weekend. It was so relaxing. She only had one dance in one show. Normally we have like 3 shows and 8 dances. Afterwards we went shopping and had lunch at the mall.

July 4th, 2009

I realize that I am always late in posting but that is okay right? Its my blog and it will still be there for the memories and that is what is important :)

We went to my sils for the 4th. We had a nice time until the end. When we were cleaning up there was a big family argument. Which is a shame because it ruined the whole day. But I got these pictures before everything happened.

My 40th Birthday!

Last Saturday, June 27th, 2009 my family and I celebrated my birthday. It was the MOST awesome birthday every. They had a day of events planned. I was told to be ready at 10:30 to hit the road and to shave my legs

Everyone had lunch with me and then they all left and it was just me and Brittany.

We went to the scrapbook store to shop :)

Then we went to Kohl's and got a new outfit :)


Then we went to get Manicures and Pedicures



And last we had ice cream. It was the most special birthday the family has ever done. While I am turning 40 and most people hate that I don't. I feel good about that. I have many things to look forward to in the future. Kids getting married and having children.

Age is but a number. Living life with no regrets is my plan!
